Mexico’s PC Capital Completes Investment in Distribuidora Rancho Los Molinos

Private equity firm PC Capital completed an undisclosed investment in Mexican seed distributor Rancho Los Molinos.
(Press Release) PC Capital Management, a specialized Mexican growth equity impact investment firm, announced today that it has completed an investment in Distribuidora Rancho Los Molinos S.A. de C.V. (“Rancho Los Molinos” or the “Company”) through its Mexico Development I, L.P. private equity fund along a group of other Mexican private investors. Based in Tepoztlán, Morelos, Mexico, Rancho Los Molinos is the leading distributor of bulk seeds and hermetically sealed vegetable, fruit, and flower seeds in the country.
Rancho Los Molinos has a well-established business model with over 20 years of experience in the industry. The Company has over 3,200 points of sale across the country with a roster of some of Mexico’s largest retail clients including HomeDepot, Wal-Mart, and other leading retail chains and specialized gardening stores in the country. Rancho Los Molinos portfolio includes more than 150 products, under 3 company owned brands: Hortaflor, Vita, and La Huerta
