Fabio Coelho
President, Google Brazil & Vice President, Google Inc.
Fabio Coelho is President of Google Brazil and Vice President of Google Inc. Google Brazil is one of the most admired and innovative companies in the country, having won the Great Place to Work award for seven consecutive years – between 2010 and 2016 – and being elected ten times as the number 1 dream company for Brazilians by Cia. de Talentos, including in 2023. The company also ranked first in the 2023 edition of the The Most Influential Brands in Brazil survey, conducted by Ipsos.
A global citizen interested in business and technology, Fabio took over the leadership of Google in Brazil in 2011. Throughout this journey, he has received several recognitions for his work leading the company in the country. In 2015 and 2016, he was considered one of the 10 best CEOs in Brazil by Forbes Brasil magazine. He was in the top 3 of the Merco ranking of the most reputable executives in the country in 2020. In 2023, Bloomberg Línea elected him as one of the 500 most influential people in Latin America.
Fabio holds a degree in civil engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), a master’s degree in Business Administration from COPPEAD-UFRJ and a postgraduate degree from Harvard University. He has held executive positions in marketing, sales and general management in the internet and telecommunications, financial services and consumer goods industries at companies such as Citibank, P&G and Pepsico. The executive worked for over a decade in the United States as president of AT&T’s digital business.
Since his return to Brazil in 2009, Fabio has worked to help stimulate economic growth through the digital ecosystem. Between 2011 and 2012, he was president of IAB Brasil, and then served as chairman of the board in 2013 and 2014. Fabio was a member of the Board of Graded School (São Paulo Graduate School) from 2013 to 2019 and has been a member of the CDES (Advisory Council) of the Presidency of the Republic since 2016.
Nicolás Szekasy

Nicolás Szekasy is a co-founder and Managing Partner of KASZEK, the largest venture capital firm in Latin America with over $3 billion of raised capital. The firm was launched in 2011 and has invested in more than 140 startups. KASZEK’s notable early-stage investments include Nubank, QuintoAndar, Kavak, Creditas, NuvemShop, Gympass, Bitso, NotCo, Konfío, Technysis, Kushki. Before KASZEK, Nicolás was CFO for 10 years at MercadoLibre (Nasdaq: MELI), Latin America’s largest technology company, where he led its $333 million IPO in 2007. Nicolás is Chairman of the Board at LAVCA, Board Member at Endeavor Global and Trustee at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. He was invited as Arjay Miller Distinguished CFO Lecturer by the Stanford GSB, selected Entrepreneur Master of the Year by EY and received the Visionary Investor of the Decade recognition by Americas Society / Council of the Americas. Nicolás received an MBA from Stanford University and graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with a degree in Economics.
David Xu
Vice President & Head of Capital Markets, DiDi Global
David Xu has been the vice president and head of capital markets at DiDi Global since 2018. Before joining DiDi, David was an investor at Apax Partners. He also has banking experience from UBS Investment Bank and Goldman Sachs Asia. David graduated from Carleton College majoring in mathematics and economics, and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Carlo Dapuzzo
General Partner, monashees+
Carlo Dapuzzo, General Partner, joined monashees+ in 2005. He focuses on marketplaces, and has been an early partner to companies like 99 (acquired by DiDi), DogHero (PetLove), Elo7 (Etsy), Flaner (Gympass), GetNinjas (Public), Meemo (Coinbase), Frubana, Inventa, Kovi, Loggi, Rappi, and Vammo.
Prior to monashees, he worked as a management consultant at the Monitor Group. Carlo is from Rio Grande, Brazil. He holds an MBA from Stanford and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Poli-USP, with a one-year scholarship at McGill University.
