In March 2022, Advent invested in Grupo Tigre, a Brazil-based multinational company and the largest manufacturer of PVC pipes in Latin America. The company manages over 15,000 products across multiple sectors including plumbing, electrical, irrigation and industrial solutions.
With Advent’s support, Grupo Tigre has professionalized its management team and established a stronger presence in the US market through the integration of Dura Plastics, a US-based construction and irrigation supplier. The company has also advanced its environmental impact by recycling packaging materials, reducing emissions and developing sustainable solutions to address critical rural sanitation needs. Tigre’s sewage treatment systems cut energy consumption and sludge generation by up to 40% compared to traditional technologies, while reducing land usage by 35%, enabling wastewater treatment plants to be located closer to population centers.
