In October 2024, Deetken Impact invested in Dispower, a Colombia-based solar energy company focused on expanding access to clean and reliable energy solutions in underserved communities. Through government-backed concessions under Colombia’s rural electrification strategy, the company provides solar-powered infrastructure to households, schools and small businesses in remote areas with limited or unreliable grid access.
With Deetken Impact’s support, Dispower strengthened its operating platform and expanded its customer base, securing partnerships with six new clients and extending electricity access to more than 7,000 additional users. From 2024 to 2025, operating revenues increased by 43%, while EBITDA grew by more than 600%. As of 2024, Dispower’s solar systems supported more than 45,000 people and displaced approximately 9,600 tons of carbon dioxide annually, while the company continued to prioritize local workforce development and community engagement across rural Colombia.
