Venrex Investment Management and Others Invest US$3.25m in Global 66

Chilean payments platform Global 66 raised US$3.25m from Venrex Investment Management, with participation from angels Mario Solari (Genesis Management) and Will Armitage.
(LatAm List) Global 66, a Chilean fintech, raised $3.25M from British VC fund Venrex along with additional funding from private investors Mario Solari, socio of Genesis Management, and Will Armitage.
Global66 is an international online payment platform that allows customers to transfer money with rates up to eight times better than other services.
The funds will allow Global 66 to consolidate its presence in Chile and continue expanding into Peru, Colombia, Argentina, and Mexico, with new offices recently opened in Peru. The company is also offering B2B services to allow businesses to more effectively manage their global payments.
Within two years of operations, Global 66 has achieved 25K active users on its platform across 60 different cities in Latin America.
