16 October 2013
(Startupi) Online education platform Veduca announced a R$ 1.1 million investment from Bolt Ventures (formerly Mountain do Brasil), an investment fund based in Luxembourg, with offices in São Paulo and Zurich; Macmillan Education Digital, part of Macmillan Publishers, one of the largest and most traditional publishing groups in the world, and 500 Startups, a venture capital fund in Silicon Valley.
The investment comes shortly after the launch of Veduca’s MBA course with free lessons. The company had R$1.5 million with the same group of investors last year.
