Dieter Hauser

Dieter Hauser serves as the CEO of Farellones Capital, an investment manager born as a spin-off of Megeve Investments, the Family Office of the Solari Donaggio Family (controlling shareholders of Falabella). Farellones Capital specializes mainly in private credit, high yield, and special situations in Latin America. During his prior 18 years at Megeve Investments, Mr. Hauser successfully managed private equity acquisitions and exits in various sectors, including Real Estate, Power, Mining, Water Utility, and Forestry, with a strong focus in the Andean markets (Chile, Colombia, and Peru). Prior to Megeve, Mr. Hauser was Chief Investment Officer of Penta Vida, a Chilean life insurance company.

Mr. Hauser holds a Bachelor´s Degree in Business and a MSc in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, along with an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
