Carlos (CK) Kokron

Carlos (CK) Kokron is currently Vice President and Managing Director at Qualcomm Ventures. He is responsible for the investments and business development teams in the Americas, investing in and supporting the development of companies focused in 5G, AI, Automotive, Connectivity, IoT and XR sectors.

He currently serves as a board director or observer at AiFi, Augury, FourKites, Particle, SPAN and Tive. Earlier at Qualcomm Ventures he led investments in 99 (Didi), CargoX, Loggi, QuintoAndar, Strider (Syngenta), Zoop (Movile), Altiostar (Rakuten), Matterport (MTTR) and Spyce (SweetGreen), among others.

CK has been investing in and supporting entrepreneurs in LatAm and in the US for over twenty years, having started Intel Capital’s activities in LatAm in late 1999. He began his career as a process engineer at Unilever in Brasil and later worked as an operations and control engineer at Chevron in California.

CK received his MBA from UC Berkeley and holds BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering. He currently lives in San Diego with his wife and is the proud father of two young men.
