(Valor Economico) Quest Investimentos, managed by Luiz Carlos Mendonça de Barros, is entering a new area, that of private equity funds. The focus will be on companies in healthcare, technology and education.

The first fund, focused on health, was structured and includes resources from the managing partners and individual investors. It has made an investment in a company diagnostic medicine. The second fund is in its structuring process and is already targeting a project in microtechnology. This second fund will be open for fundraising and is expected to reach R$300 million.
