Ximena has more than 15 years of experience in Impact Investing, corporate finance, and venture capital funds. She has led transactions of various instruments within the Investment Fund since its creation in 2011, managing to build the investment portfolio of the first Impact Investment Fund in Colombia constituted under local regulation. She participated in the analysis of a wide number of investment opportunities for the Investment Fund I, accompanied due diligence processes and supported the negotiation and structuring processes of investment agreements in several companies. Ximena has accompanied the growth / expansion processes of the Investor Fund I Portfolio Companies, generating value through Corporate Governance, connections and networking, impact investing and strategy. She currently leads the exit strategies processes of the investment portfolio with a successful track record. She has been Member of the Board of Directors of SMEs in several fields such as Tourism, Sustainable Construction, Recycling and Circular Economy, Agroindustry and Sustainable Mobility.
