Marcela has been a partner and member of the investment team at eB Capital Real Estate since May 2023. Marcela is a member of the Board of Directors of Cyrela and a former member of the Board of Directors of Aliansce Sonae+BR Malls Shopping Centers. She was Executive Director of the Real Estate Investment Department for Latin America at the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board (2016-2022). Previously, Marcela worked at Clarion Partners, as Head of Real Estate Investments for Brazil (2008-2016); prior to that, she lived in New York for eight years, where she worked as a Vice-President at Capital Trust (2006-2008) and AIG Global Real Estate (2002-2006).

Marcela has a degree in civil engineering from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
