Loreanne Garcia is the Co-founder of Kavak, the first Mexican unicorn, and one of the highest-valued startups in Latin America. Kavak was born in 2016 in Mexico City and quickly expanded across the globe, it currently operates in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Turkey, and the GCC. Loreanne has played several roles in helping build and expand Kavak since day 1. Particularly, she has focused on ensuring that Kavak has the best talent and can work as a disruptive and high-performing team.
She has an Engineering Degree from the Simon Bolivar University of Venezuela and an M.B.A from Stanford University. Her professional career began at Procter & Gamble and later she joined prestigious firms such as McKinsey & Company. In Mexico, she led the commercial team at a microfinance institution before assuming a Corporate Strategy Management position at Coca-Cola FEMSA.
