Laís Rocha is an impact and ESG specialist with over a decade of experience in Venture Capital across Latin America. She serves as an Associate and Head of Impact at Vox Capital’s technology funds, where she leads the impact strategy across a multi-sector portfolio, integrating measurement, governance, and value creation throughout the investment cycle.

As an investor, Laís works across sourcing, due diligence, thesis development, portfolio support, and the design of strategic impact and performance indicators — with a focus on technology-driven solutions addressing social and environmental challenges. She also leads the evolution of Vox’s proprietary impact methodology and the consolidation of its internal impact management and reporting practices.

Before joining the investment industry, Laís worked at organizations such as Yunus Social Business, Preta Hub, and Catraca Livre, where she led programs in social innovation, economic inclusion, racial and gender equity, and early-stage entrepreneurship.

Laís is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Global Competitiveness Leadership (GCL) Program, holds a degree in Journalism from UFBA, postgraduate degrees in Human Rights and Humanities from PUC-RS, and executive training in ESG from FIA. She is also a graduate of Conselheira 101, a governance program preparing women for board roles, and is an active participant in regional networks focused on strengthening the investment ecosystem.
