Emilia graduated summa cum laude from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in Santo Domingo with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics; with distinction from a Master of Arts in Political Economy from the University of Essex, United Kingdom, valedictorian from a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Barna Business School and the University of Barcelona, and valedictorian from a Master of Law in Business Transactions from the Instituto OMG, Santo Domingo.
