Adelina Dasso

Adelina leads Latin American investments at the Accion Digital Transformation Fund, which is managed by Accion Impact Management (investment platform of Accion). She is Partner for Latin America. Adelina joined Accion in 2016 and has played a key role in transactions, strategic initiatives and corporate governance. She has worked on multiple transactions both in Latin America and India, including initial investments, follow-on and exits. She works closely with the investees’ management on various strategic and operational matters. Adelina brings over fifteen years of experience doing direct investments in emerging markets, the first part of her career working on one of the leading Peruvian pension funds (Prima AFP, part of the Credicorp group), across different sectors, managing a portfolio of over USD10 billion as Equity Portfolio Manager. Adelina has served as Board representative at portfolio companies of Accion, Prima AFP and Profuturo AFP. Adelina has a Bachelor’s in Economics and Finance from Universidad de Piura (Peru) and an MBA from Duke University, and she is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Adelina is the Co-founder and Strategy Director of MBA Women Peru, a non-profit organization that supports Peruvian MBA women and Peruvian women, who want to pursue an international MBA at a recognized business school. She is also the Co-founder of Universidad de Piura´s Endowment. Adelina is a part-time professor of Impact Investing at the Finance Master of Universidad de Piura- PAD (Lima, Peru).
