Startup Mexico
27 September 2016
Startup Mexico is a private program backed by both the federal and local (Mexico City) governments. Their first campus is a 35,000 sq. ft. facility specially designed to host aspiring entrepreneurs with services (such as accounting, legal, mentors, design, etc.), seed capital funds, university initiatives and corporations in one place. They plan to create 50 new companies in 2016 (program will start in July) and host at least 100 others. They also plan to help over 1,000 entrepreneurs with their online learning center. The program does not take any ownership stake in its incubated companies.
