Launched in partnership with BlueBox, Cinépolis Accelerator offers a four month growth program for two startup categories: 1. entrepreneurs who can provide solutions to the operation of Cinépolis; and 2. those that are generating technological disruptions within their industry. Category 1 participants have the opportunity to run a pilot program paid for by Cinépolis, and gain access to an internal network of business contacts. Category 2 participants receive equity free MX$315k for startup expenses and lodging in the city of Morelia, mentoring by corporate executives and industry experts, as well as a business trip to Silicon Valley.
