Kinea Invests R$200M in Multi group

(Valor Economico) November 18, 2010 – Kinea, the alternative investment arm of Banco Itau, is investing R$200M (approximately US$116M) in Multi group, owner of a network of 3,100 language schools. Some of its best known brands include Wizard, Skill and Bit Company.
Kinea will have a 15 percent stake in Multi. This is the fund’s first investment in the education sector.
