Globant enters Brazil with acquisition of TerraForum

(DealWatch) November 1, 2012 – Argentine software innovation company Globant has acquired Brazil-based innovation consulting and software development firm TerraForum, the former said in a statement without disclosing the value of the deal.
The acquisition will allow Globant to enter the Brazilian market, leveraging TerraForum’s experience, customer portfolio and development centers in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba and Belo Horizonte, the statement said.
TerraForum’s portfolio of services includes innovation and knowledge management consulting, digital marketing and social media, and software development, with clients in Brazil, including companies like UK bank HSBC (NYSE: HBC), federal oil major Petrobras (NYSE: PBR), Unilever and mining giant Vale (NYSE: VALE).
