Darby acquires ALL subsidiary and creates ART (em português)

(Valor Econômico) The group America Latina Logistica (ALL) sold its rail technology subsidiary ALL Rail Technology, which develops equipment and software for the operating in the industry. The sale featured resources in the amount of R$30 million from Franklin Templeton Investments’s private equity arm Darby Overseas Investments. Darby also acquired Daiken Ferroviaria, based in Parana, and Engenharia de Sistemas, based in Espirito Santo. The three companies will come together to form a new company called Alta Rail Tech (ART).
O grupo América Latina Logística (ALL) vendeu sua subsidiária de tecnologia ferroviária ALL Rail Technology, que desenvolve equipamentos e softwares de operação para empresas do setor. A venda contou com recursos do Darby, braço de “private equity” (que compra participação de empresas) da gestora Franklin Templeton Investments.
