Nilo Saúde, a Brazilian patient communication and telemedicine platform, raised a USD10m Series A from Canary, MAYA Capital, SoftBank, GFC and Tau Ventures.
(LatamList) – The Brazilian healthtech Nilo Saúde announced a $10M Series A funding round. Investors in the round included GFC, SoftBank Latin America Fund, Tau Ventures, MAYA Capital, and Canary Ventures.
The Nilo Saúde healthtech aims to improve the management interaction between healthcare professionals and patients. The platform offers simple, integrated software for improved patient communication, enhanced telemedicine services, and smart clinical analytics.
“We continually invest in improving our platform in order to help our partners create close relationships with their patients,” said Victor Marcondes, co-founder and CEO.
The SaaS healthtech operates a B2B model with tools such as WhatsApp, email, and video to talk to patients and maintain a direct communication channel. Nilo Saúde also provides clinics with data analytics tools to help monitor the success of clinical operations and improve the service to patients.
“We are excited about this partnership and to support Nilo Saúde in its expansion. The startup’s performance in the market, particularly the support provided to its customers regarding improving their patient’s care journey, showed us that healthtech has the potential to continue growing in the local and international markets,” said Alex Anton, Partner at GFC.
Nilo Saúde healthtech is one of many Brazilian healthtech currently exploding in the market.
The startup plans to use the new funding to improve the platform’s software, specifically to incorporate data analytics and automation.
