BR Investimentos Buys 30% Stake in Hortifruti

(Valor Economico) September 6, 2010 – FIB Brasil, an investment fund managed by BR Investimentos, has acquired a 30% stake in Hortifruti, a Brazilian chain of grocery and vegetable stores. The deal includes a capital injection of about US$93m to increase the chain’s operations. Sales for 2010 are expected to reach approximately US$279.7m.
