Aurus Capital Makes US$3.5m Series A Investment in Chilean Mining Tech Company Scarab

Aurus Capital made a US$3.5m Series A investment in Scarab, a Chilean mining tech company reducing waste material environmental impact.
(Source: Aurus Capital) Aurus Capital recently closed an investment in Scarab SpA, a Chilean company that developed a proprietary chemistry for selectively extracting valuable elements from the mining industry waste materials (ie, tailing, slangs, etc.) and in the process waste material gets more stable reducing its environmental impact.
Aurus’ investment was for USD 3.5M and the firm was the sole investor in the Series A Round.
