Aqua Capital Exits Grand Cru via Sale to Evino (em português)
26 October 2021
Aqua Capital exited Grand Cru, a Brazilian importer and distributor of premium wines, via a sale to Brazil-based wine e-commerce Evino for an undisclosed amount.
(Valor Econômico) Evino, a company that has one of the largest online wine sales operations in Latin America, bought Grand Cru, an importer, distributor and retailer of premium wines. The deal creates a company whose revenue for this year is estimated at R$700 million. The transaction depends on the approval of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade). Grand Cru has 110 stores (including its own and franchises) in the Brazilian market and should open another 17 points by the end of this year.
