Alba Capital Partners-Backed A1 Torres Acquires 47 Telecom Sites in Argentina

A1 Torres, an Argentina-based telecom tower company backed by Alba Capital
Partners, announced the acquisition of 47 telecommunication sites in Argentina. A1 Torres now holds 110+ sites in the country.
A1 Torres (“A1”), an Alba Capital Partners company, announced the acquisition of 47 telecommunication sites in Argentina. After this acquisition, A1 holds 110+ sites in in the country.
Alba initially invested in Sidaco Telecomunicaciones, a 30-year-old engineering firm in Argentina with a 2,500 telecom site count construction experience. The objective was to offer mobile network operators one-stop-shop services while developing a telecom site infrastructure portfolio under A1.
“After this acquisition we are now a relevant player in the country. Under our companies, we have the right combination of experience, size and financial strength. As a result, we were recently awarded the largest tower project in the country, bringing coverage to a 600km route in Patagonia.”, Nestor Oistaczer, Sidaco’s CEO said.
“We are proud of our company’s growth and financial results. Despite the challenges faced over the past two years, we are delivering results and enhancing shareholder value for our investors”, Juan Lucena, an Alba partner said.
