Claudia Arango – Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Exagon Impact Capital
Claudia is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Exagon Impact Capital, bringing over 25 years of private equity experience in Latin America. Throughout her career, she has led or participated in over 30 equity investments across a diverse range of sectors, including renewable energy, telecom, logistics, transportation, retail, agribusiness, media, and industrial services.
As a seasoned private equity professional, Claudia has provided board leadership to several organizations, where she successfully guided companies to grow both domestically and internationally with strong margins, through her strategic leadership, M&A expertise, and hands-on approach.
She currently serves on the boards of Organización Corona, Solar Assets Latin America, and &Green Fund. Previously, Claudia was a Managing Director and founding member of the Latin American Private Equity Fund at The Rohatyn Group (TRG). Before TRG, she was a Director at AIG Global Emerging Markets Private Equity Group, focusing on investments in Latin America.
Claudia holds an M.Sc. in Finance from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.
