W Capital SAFI Invests in Vitamina Chile

Peruvian fund manager W Capital SAFI invested in Vitamina Chile a holding company with a network of pre-school and daycare centers across Chile. W Capital SAFI manages a private capital fund on behalf of Grupo Wiese. Financial terms of the transaction were undisclosed.

(Press Release) Grupo Wiese, a Peruvian economic group, on an investment in Vitamina Chile, a holding company with a relevant network of pre-school and daycare centers across Chile. Grupo Wiese invested, through a private investment fund managed by W Capital SAFI, an investment fund management company registered in the Superintendency of Peruvian Securities Market.

The challenge was to operate within limited timeframes and to harmonize the Chilean and Peruvian jurisdictions for tax and corporate governance purposes. This investment confirms the expansion plan of Vitamina, which previously received investments from the private equity investors Peninsula and LGT Capital Partners.
