Vinci Partners and P2 Brasil Buy CBO and Estaleiro Aliança

(Valor) Asset-management firms Vinci Partners and P2 Brasil – a partnership of Pátria Investimentos and Promon – signed a deal to buy Companhia Brasileira de Offshore (CBO) and Estaleiro Aliança. Valor has learned that the deal amounts to R$500 million.
Both previously controlled by Fischer group, best known for its citrus growing business. Companies involved in the transaction declined to comment. Valor has learned that the deal amounts to R$500 million. The transaction will join CBO, Aliança and Oceana, a shipyard controlled by P2 and BNDESpar, the Brazilian Development Bank’s investment arm.
