Vinci Acquires Brazil’s Porto Pontal

Vinci Partners acquired Brazil-based port terminal Porto Pontal from JCR Group for an undisclosed amount. The fund plans to invest BRL3b (~USD526m) in the project.
(Valor International) Vinci Partners has agreed to buy Porto Pontal, a port terminal in Paraná that belonged to JCR, a group owned by Curitiba-based businessman João Carlos Ribeiro. The fund will invest R$3 billion in stages to put in place a project designed to be one of the most modern container terminals in South America. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
