Portal HelloFood buys Peixe Urbano Delivery (em português)

(Valor) Operating in Brazil for little over six months, Rocket Internet’s HelloFood has just made its third acquisition: competitor Peixe Urbano Delivery.
Both work as virtual food courts – they are sites where consumers can order food for delivery from restaurants and eateries located around their homes. With units in 28 countries, HelloFood is controlled by Berlin-based online startup incubator Rocket Internet – which has stakes in 14 other online businesses in Brazil, including fashion retailer Dafiti.
