After leading a cross-sector holding that invested in real estate, food supply, and housing — where she acted both as investor and as executive across its assets — she gained a deep appreciation for the grit it takes to build a business in Brazil, particularly the barriers women face in leadership.
Today, she channel that awareness into her passion for co-creating tomorrow’s economy by blending impact investing, governance, and advocacy. She does this through Positive Ventures, a venture capital firm with offices in São Paulo and San Francisco, backing early-stage technology companies addressing social and climate challenges across the Americas.
Beyond Positive Ventures — and after serving on the boards of several portfolio companies — Andrea now sits on the board of the Institute of Corporate Citizenship (ICE), a mission-driven organization dedicated to advancing the impact investing sector in Brazil.
