Partners Group completes investment in Brazilian watchmaker Technos

(Partners Group) December 7, 2010 – Partners Group, the global private markets investment manager, has closed an investment in Technos da Amazônia Ind. e Com. S.A. (“Technos”) on behalf of its clients together with its investment partner DLJ South American Partners.
Technos is the leading assembler and distributor of wristwatches in Brazil with a market share of approximately 36% and sales of more than 1.5 million watches in 2009. The company is led by a very experienced management team and is expected to generate strong organic growth as a result of new product development initiatives as well as favorable economic conditions in the region. As an investor in the company, Partners Group will provide Technos with the benefits of its global industry network, which include new customer introductions and strategic contacts that should further enhance Technos’ leadership position in its markets.
