OCCMundial Acquires Assured Labor’s Service in Mexico – EmpleoListo
30 August 2016
(Press Release) Assured Labor (www.assuredlabor.com), Latin America’s leader in digital low-wage recruitment, announced today that the company has sold its service in Mexico – EmpleoListo – to OCCMundial (part of publically traded SEEK Limited). Terms for the transaction were not disclosed.
Launched in 2010, EmpleoListo grew to become Mexico’s largest digital recruitment service fully focused on low-to-mid wage positions, with over 1.3 million job seekers and 45,000 employers on the platform. As the world’s first mobile recruitment service, EmpleoListo enables job seekers to connect with employers through any digital medium: web, app, text, or voice. Over the past six years, EmpleoListo built a massive pool of high-quality job seekers, enabling large corporations and small-and-medium-sized businesses alike to effectively recruit for their sales, operations and administrative positions via the web for the first time.
“By acquiring EmpleoListo, OCC will enable our clients to recruit for all levels — from executives to blue-collar positions,” said Ricardo Rodarte, CEO of OCCMundial. “EmpleoListo’s beloved brand will be a tremendous compliment to OCC.”
“EmpleoListo has placed nearly 100,000 low-wage workers in Mexico in jobs,” said David Reich, Founder and CEO of Assured Labor. “By joining with OCC, our impact will only accelerate. We look forward to bringing these two game-changing services together.”
