New Fund to Inject R$50m into Start-ups in Southern Brazil (em português)

(Valor Econômico) FIR Capital BZPlan, a joint venture between FIR Capital and BZPlan, has raised R$50m for Fundo Sul Inovação, a new VC fund targeting investments in tech startups based in the Southern region of Brazil.
FIR Capital BZPlan has just opened its second investment fund startups. Called South Innovation, it will initially R $ 50 million to invest in 12 technology companies in the South region that have revenues of up to R $ 3.6 million per year. The target are companies that sell to other groups, the so – called ‘business to business’, or B2B.
