LIV Capital Raises US$170m in First Close of Mexico Growth Fund IV

(LAVCA) LIV Capital (formerly Latin Idea Ventures) held a first close on LIV Mexico Growth Fund IV on December 23, 2015. It raised a Mexican CKD of MXP$2,880 million (approximately US$170m), which will represent the Mexican investment vehicle of Fund IV. LIV is targeting US$250m for the total fund and is currently fundraising the parallel international Limited Partnership vehicle.
This is LIV’s sixth equity investment fund and second CKD. The fund will make equity investments in high growth Mexican companies, with a significant presence in Mexico. It will target companies requiring capital funding of US$15 million to US$30 million throughout the life of each investment to fund accretive growth opportunities.
