Klar Raises US$57.5m In Debt and Equity

Mexican digital banking startup Klar raised US$7.5m in equity and US$50m in debt financing. Quona Capital led the US$7.5m equity investment, with participation of Santander Innoventures, aCrew Capital, a new fund spun out of Aspect Ventures, FJ Labs and Western Technology Investment. Arc Labs provided the US$50m debt financing.
(Crunchbase) Klar, a Mexico City-based startup that wants to democratize banking services in Mexico, has raised $57.5 million in debt and equity seed funding with the goal of becoming the ”Chime of Mexico,” among other things.
