Guido Padovano joins PineBridge’s Latin American division

(PineBridge) October 7, 2010 -PineBridge Investments announced today that Guido Padovano has joined the firm as Head of Latin America Alternative Investments. In this role, Mr. Padovano will oversee all private equity operations and manage the firm’s investments in the region. He will be based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Our global network of investment professionals, experience in other emerging markets and depth of knowledge in growing economies are all important advantages to operating successfully in this region. Mr. Padovano was previously head of Merrill Lynch Private Equity (MLGPE) in Latin America and was also responsible for managing European private equity operations from 2003 to 2007. He was a member of the MLGPE worldwide investment and operating committees and has served on the Boards of Rexel SA, Debenhams plc and was Chairman of Cremer SA and Convermex SA. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
