Gávea Investimentos closed new investment round in Colombo (em português)

(Valor Econômico) Gávea Investimentos, private equity fund manager founded by former Central Bank President Arminio Fraga, has closed a new investment round in Camisaria Colombo, the largest retailer of menswear in Brazil. Gávea also converted into shares its initial investment, made in 2011 in the form of debentures, and became a partner in the company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the estimate is that the contributions adds up to at least R$ 150 million.
A Gávea Investimentos, gestora fundada pelo ex-presidente do Banco Central Arminio Fraga, fechou um novo aporte de recursos na Camisaria Colombo, maior rede de varejo de moda masculina do país. A gestora também converteu em ações o investimento inicial, realizado em 2011 sob a forma de debêntures, e se tornou sócia da companhia. O valor do negócio não foi divulgado, mas a estimativa é que os aportes somem pelo menos R$ 150 milhões.
