EMX Capital Makes First Investment, Acquires Majority Stake in Mexican Security Company

(EMX Capital) January 13, 2012 – EMX Capital, a Mexico-based private equity firm, announced the acquisition of 60 percent of Fomento Logistico Empresarial (FLE) through its investment vehicle, Segulogística Holdings, S.A.P.I de C.V. Financial terms were not disclosed.
FLE is a Mexican company that provides private security and logistics services with operations in 16 states throughout Mexico. The company recently completed the construction of a new facility and is looking at expansion opportunities.
The December 2011 closing marked the first investment for EMX Capital, which manages approximately US$125M in committed capital through a local Mexican vehicle and an additional US$34M in committed capital through an international fund.
