BNB and Vinci To Launch BRL2.65b Infrastructure and Renewable Energy Fund

(Bloomberg Linea) Sao Paulo – Private equity manager Vinci Partners ( VINP ) will partner with Banco do Nordeste ( BNBR3) in an infrastructure and renewable energy fund, to be launched in the 2nd quarter, according to the new preseident of BNB, Jose Gomes da Costa.
‘As the budget is limited, the bank has to look for alternatives. The first initiative is the
creation of an infrastructure and renewable energy fund in partnership with Vinci Partners.
We expect to put this fund up this semester with an intial contribution of resources from BNB, which is already prepared to do so”, said Costa in an interview published today by the newspaper
