As a Senior Investment Officer of the IDB Lab, IDB Group’s innovation laboratory, Laila is focused on structuring and monitoring investments in venture capital funds in Latin America and the Caribbean. She is also part of the WeXchange coordinating team, a platform that connects STEM women entrepreneurs with investors and mentors. Laila is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University – Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and the University of Salvador in Argentina.
