Wayra is a start-up accelerator that promotes entrepreneurship and accelerates disruptive start-ups in Europe and Latin America. Wayra’s acceleration program gives its users funding up to 50,000 U.S. dollars, a place to work, mentors, business partners, access to a global network of talent, and the opportunity to reach millions of Telefónica customers in exchange for 7% to 10% of each startup. WBI – Business Innovation proposes an entrepreneurial acceleration and support program to connect the Ibero-American ecosystems. During the one year program, the staff and mentors work closely with each company to support on tactical and strategic issues central to each business, in exchange for 7% – 10% equity.
