(Global Legal Chronicle) Macquarie Mexico Infrastructure Fund sold its interest in the concession of Mexico-based Universidad Politécnica de San Luis Potosí to Bestinver for an undisclosed amount.

Macquarie Mexico Infrastructure Fund (FIMM) executed the sale of 100% of its interest in the concession of the Universidad Politécnica de San Luis Potosí to the private equity fundBestinver, through its infrastructure arm Bestinver Infra FCR.

The sale of the university represents less than 5% of the trust’s equityand will be carried out under market terms and conditions, for which the correspondingpurchase agreement includes certain standard disclosures and indemnities in this typeof transaction.

Cuatrecasas advised Bestinver Infra F.C.R and Global Burano, S.L on the transaction with a team including Santiago Ferrer (Picture), Juan Carlos Galicia, Jorge García de Presno, Jorge Antonio Jiménez, Ana Isabel Echeverría, María Fernanda Ramírez, José Luis Rodríguez, Alvaro Vierna and Alessandro Jones.
