FRAM Capital Acquires Minority Stake in Brazil’s Classy Brands
12 May 2022
(Fusões e Aquisições) FRAM Capital’s private equity fund announced the acquisition of a relevant minority interest in Classy Brands . The transaction carried out at the beginning of the year aims to accelerate the growth of the brand portfolio and the implementation of Classy Brands’ digital channel.
In addition, Classy Brands expects revenue growth of around R$200 million for the next three years. For FRAM Capital, the most important thing about this acquisition is that the company has an eye on the beauty segment in the country, with the possibility of other partnerships for the future. “Our thesis is that the hygiene and beauty market in Brazil is a resilient sector with many opportunities for consolidation, and we found in Classy Brands a platform ready for this movement, with a highly qualified and fully operational team prepared for a new phase of growth.
We are very excited about the investment” says Nicolas Londono, head of Alternative Investments at FRAM Capital. Classy Brands has more than 10 years of history in the Brazilian Personal Care, Perfumery and Cosmetics (HPC) market.
During this period, she was a partner of model Gisele Bündchen in its Sejaa brand, was also responsible for the import and distribution of Sephora Collection products in Brazil, among other successful operations, always with high internal capacity for supply chain and product development.
