Equitas Management Partners acquired Naviera Antártica, a provider of services for the salmon farming industry in Chile, for an undisclosed amount.

(Equitas Capital) Naviera Antártica SpA (“Naviera Antártica”) is a provider of services for the salmon farming industry in Chile. The country is the second largest producer of salmon worldwide. The company operates landing crafts that transport cold-storage tank-tainers from in-situ harvesting facilities to on-shore processing plants, among other domestic transportation services.

Equitas, through one of its funds, is the majority shareholder in Naviera Antártica, alongside seasoned operating partner from the salmon industry.
