Blackstone Acquires Mexican Infrastructure Asset Through Investment in FRS Capital

Blackstone has plans to buy a stake in US investment fund FRS Capital. The acquisition would gain Blackstone indirect control of a leading Latin American container terminal operator.
(Latin Lawyer) US private equity firm Blackstone has hired Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, DC; Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega in Panama City; CMS Carey & Allende in Santiago; Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enriquez SC in Mexico City and Gómez-Pinzón in Bogotá to buy a stake in US investment fund FRS Capital and gain indirect control of a leading Latin American container terminal operator.
