Ameris Capital acquired LP stakes held by Chile-based life insurance company Penta Seguros de Vida in thirteen public investment funds for an undisclosed amount through Ameris Alternativos II Fondo de Inversión. The thirteen funds are managed by Chilean managers and act as feeders for global investment funds. Ameris secured financing for the transaction from Penta Vida, Banco de Crédito e Inversiones and Seguros Vida Security.
