American Fund Sells Providence Tower Sur (em português)

(Exame) The U.S. fund Providence has offered to sell the company Torre Sur, which owns and operates approximately 6000 cell phone towers in Brazil. Companies like Torre Sur rent their facilities for cellular operators. It is estimated that the deal cost about $US2b dollars. The Providence manages US$23b and invests in media, communications and technology. The fund has not commented.
