Adobe Capital Closes its Mezzanine Fund II with US$30.3m (en español)

Adobe Capital closed its Adobe Mezzanine Fund II with US$30.3m in capital commitments, entirely comprised of institutional investors. Fund I was a US$20m vehicle raised in 2012.
(Press Release) Adobe Capital anuncia el cierre final de Adobe Mezzanine Fund II, L.P. con un monto total de $30.3 millones de dólares. Este segundo fondo está conformado en su totalidad por inversionistas institucionales, tanto locales como internacionales.
Adobe Mezzanine Fund II, L.P. logró superar considerablemente el levantamiento de capital de su primer fondo, Adobe Social Mezzanine Fund I, L.P. que cerró con $20 millones de dólares en 2012.
Nos complace compartir que este segundo fondo, está conformado por un mayor número de inversionistas mexicanos, lo cual representa una mayor movilización de capital local hacia la inversión de impacto; así mismo, a la fecha se han realizado tres inversiones, IPETH y Kuepa en el sector de educación y HEG en el sector de energías renovables.
Con este esfuerzo reiteramos la misión y el compromiso de Adobe Capital de generar impacto social y ambiental alineado con retornos financieros de mercado.

Adobe Capital announces the final closing of Adobe Mezzanine Fund II, L.P. with total commitments of $30.3 million US dollars. This second fund is comprised entirely of institutional investors, both local and international.
Adobe Mezzanine Fund II, L.P. successfully surpassed the capital raised by the first fund by a considerable margin; Adobe Social Mezzanine Fund I, which closed at $20 million US dollars in 2012.
We are pleased to share that this second fund is made up of a greater number of Mexican investors, representing a growing trend of mobilizing local capital towards impact investing. Moreover, the fund has made three investments to date: IPETH and Kuepa (education sector) and HEG (renewable energy sector).
The final closing of the second fund reinforces the mission and promise of Adobe Capital to generate social and environmental impact aligned with market rate returns.
